Coaching & Classes

The part of a gym that is actually coaching, rather than administration.

Built once, assigned many times

A program is built from an exercise library or a food library and then assigned to members, with start and end dates. A coach writing the same twelve-week plan for the fourth time this month is writing it once here.

Assignments belong to the member, so their record shows what they are currently on and what they have finished, alongside their attendance and their payments.

Classes

Booked is not the same as attended

A class has a schedule, a coach and a capacity. Members are booked against a session, and attendance is recorded separately -- because the gap between the two is the number that tells a studio whether its 6am slot is working.

  • A timetable with a coach and a capacity per session
  • Bookings against the session, and who actually turned up
  • Both on the member record, beside their membership and payments

What is in the coaching module

Diet programs
Nutrition plans, assigned the same way.
Member progress
Measurements and progress entries over time.
Member view
What the member sees of their own plan.
Classes
A schedule with a coach and a capacity, and the bookings against each session.
Class attendance
Who actually turned up, recorded against the class and the member together.

What this does not do

Worth knowing before you book a call, not after.

  • Programs are text and structure, not video. There is no exercise video hosting or demonstration library.
  • No automatic progression -- a plan does not increase weights or volume week to week by itself.
  • The member portal shows plans and progress; it is a web view rather than a native mobile app.
  • Members do not self-book classes from a phone app. Bookings are made by staff or through the member view in a browser.
  • No class waitlist -- a full class is full -- and class packs are handled as plans and balances rather than a credit counter that decrements per visit.

If one of these matters to you, say so on the call. Tell us what you need and we will give you a straight answer about whether it is coming.

Questions we get asked

See it with your own data

A short call, your actual member list, and an honest answer on whether this fits how you run the place.

We will talk through your gym and what it would cost, on one short call.
